❄️ White Magic! (Foggy Winter Morning) ☺

Happy 2019 everyone! ⛄

Hello friends! :-)
This photo was taken a week before Christmas... I'd been out on a walk to see the new fallen snow and kept hoping the sun would shine through.

It had been a very foggy winter morning... and though the fog mostly faded, the sky stayed overcast with clouds but eventually parted enough to allow some pretty blue to make an appearance :-)

I didn't see the sun directly but did see its light glowing upon fluffy clouds and making the blueness a bit brighter :-)

Everything looked as if it had been sprinkled & frosted in whiteness (which it had I suppose!)

Just a simple photo taken with my old phone (Galaxy Note 4) but I love the feel of this scene, especially the powdered branches... just had to share :-)

(not sure if my settings allow it to be seen well, but there are people on horseback riding along the treeline)

Must mention all the wonderful friends who have written me Notes, Comments & Emails recently.
I believe I've read them all now... and I truly thank you from my heart!

And to a special friend who pushed me to upload something (publicly)...
Well, I've done just that :-)
Nothing fancy, but a special moment & memory to me.
And maybe to some of you guys as well :-)

Oh, and someone made me a PRO member this December!
I still don't know who did this... but you're awesome!!! ☺

Walking Away...

Hello dear friends :-)

This felt like a sad scene to me... even though I captured it on
one of the best vacations ever (Thank you Greek islands!)

I watched this girl walk somberly away from the water as it began to grow rougher... while the sun set hazily across the ocean and wet sands of the beach.

'Walking Away From It All' was another title I thought of using, as
it truly seemed she gave off the feeling of wanting to 'Leave It All
Behind' her.

Though she seemed (to me) to be sad, I saw her walk only a short
distance away from this area and meet another person who had also been taking photos of the sunset, so at least she wasn't alone.

Maybe her vacation was ending and she simply didn't want to leave
these beautiful moments behind :-)

Took this one with my old phone-camera...
and the photography-rules went out the window!

I chose to crop and use a very wide-view as it seems to focus and
amplify the feeling I got... One of her leaving behind a 'rough area'
for more 'solid ground' up ahead.

How does this scene make you guys feel?
What would be your title for it ?

Happy December dear friends!!! ☺

Not a work of art... just a little something for the holidays :-)
The snowman is actually a plush decoration I will use during Christmas :-)
The background is a winter photo I took last December.

On my TV, I was viewing the winter photo you see as a background here... so I placed the snowman in front of it and simply took a photo with my phone :-D
Then I added a wintry border (& a few snowflakes) and thought to share this fun little creation with you guys today :-)

If you zoom in, you can actually see the HDTV layers within the pic.
Kind of gives it an old-style 'claymation' animated effect (if that makes any sense!)

...and now some words I've shared with friends here before (they still ring true for me and I hope for you too) ☺
